Cabernet/Merlot

Giusti Wineโ€™s most iconic product, this wine is elegant, rich and enveloping, a masterful Bordeaux blend that has close ties with the land where international varieties were introduced by Napoleon Bonaparte.

Production area: Produced with the best Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from vineyards located in Abbey estate.

Ground: Red clay rich in iron color.

Vineyard: The training system used is the Guyot. The number of plants per hectare is about 5000 plants.

Vinification: Red vinification. The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are vinified separately.

Aging: Malolactic fermentation and aging in wood. This takes place in French oak barriques 225 LT for a period of approximately 24-30 months. Then follows a short aging in barrels from 2500 Lt and a proper aging in bottle before release.

Color: Intense ruby red with light garnet hues.

Bouquet: Intense with notes of red fruit spice, vanilla and pepper.

Taste: Full-bodied, round and persistent with soft tannins and elegant.

Serving suggestions: Excellent with grilled meats, game and mature cheese. Excellent after a meal.
